خسرت حركة أحرار الشام الإسلامية في غضون أيام كثيراً من معاقلها الأساسية في محافظة إدلب، وهذا التراجع الخطير لم يكن وليد اللحظة الراهنة، بل إنها تدفع مجدداً ثمن مواقفها المترددة.

عاد كثيرٌ من مقاتلي الجيش السوري الحر إلى ميادين القتال في الشمال السوري بعد انقطاع، يشغل بالهم هواجس كثيرة أبرزها مصير عائلاتهم في حال إصابتهم أو استشهادهم.

يبدو الأكراد السوريون أكبر المستفيدين من الظروف الراهنة في البلاد، وفي الوقت نفسه لا يبدو أن هذه الظروف قد تسمح لهم بالسير أبعد نحو تحقيق الحلم القومي التقليدي في إنشاء دولة مستقلة.
